Data Science Engineer

For the company providing technology solutions and working with clients in foreign markets, we are looking for Data Science Engineers.

Work from Poland, 100% remote.

The project is for a company in the US, which has been operating successfully in the optical industry (chain of showrooms + e-commerce) for several years.

Responsibilities:

• Data integration, data cleaning, and automation tasks

• Interacting with customers to understand their needs and applying their feedback to product design

• Contribute to the product vision, roadmap, architecture, and planning

• Helping shape our development practices and implementation technologies

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience in data science or a related field

• Professional experience and very good knowledge of R and/or Python

• Very good knowledge of SQL and ability to write procedures/functions in Procedural Language (e.g., PL/pgSQL, PL/SQL, or T-SQL)

• Professional development experience with data, analytics, visualization/reporting software (MS SQL, MySQL, Power BI)

• Experience in optimizing complex database queries/procedures

• Experience in data integrations across multiple systems/platforms using ETL/ELT tools

• Experience in ERP/CRM systems, mainly MS Dynamics

• Fluency in English and Polish
