For our corporate client, with an international presence and specializing in the field of law, we are looking for a Cloud Platform Engineer (Azure).

The company offers a flexible hybrid model of work -  the office is located in Warsaw, Poland.
The form of cooperation is an employment contract.


Main tasks:

Microsoft Azure underpins the firm's desire to adopt an agile and cost-effective usage of the underlying Microsoft Azure Platform. Our infrastructure provides best-in-class foundations and enables our stakeholders to deliver enterprise solutions and services to the firm and our clients.

The Cloud Platform Engineer's primary responsibility is the continuous design, implementation, and management of the Azure infrastructure, ensuring a secure, scalable, and efficient platform and seeking to extend service functionality.

The Cloud Platform Engineer, within the wider Cloud Infrastructure team, will focus on the following tasks and responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain infrastructure as code using Azure BICEP.

  • Design, deploy, and manage all aspects of Azure cloud infrastructure.

  • Design, implement, and manage monitoring and compliance solutions.

  • Contribute to and implement automation, infrastructure best practices.

  • Provide advanced technical support for complex issue resolution.

  • Develop, maintain, and publish technical guidance documentation.

  • Engage in continuous learning, aligned to business benefits.


Role Expectations:

  • Responsible for the management, maintenance, and development of infrastructure as code utilizing Azure BICEP code and MS DevOps platform.

  • Function within an agile-based framework, managing backlogs, and employing "sprint" working practices. Responsible for backlog and task coordination and planning.

  • Champion optimization, automation, and Cloud Native benefits aligned to business needs.

  • Responsible for and required to manage service requests, incidents, and coordinate technical changes and technical response to reported outages.

  • Demonstrate technical proficiency, analytical working practices, and alignment to service delivery processes with alignment to ITIL best practices.

  • Champion an evergreen, continuous improvement of technical solutions, adhering to our security and vulnerability response management.

  • Provide subject matter expert knowledge and experience, seeking to continuously improve service.

  • Adhere to and develop our working practices and actively share knowledge across the entire function.

  • Engage and collaborate with third-party suppliers, communicate with stakeholders at different levels.

  • Work closely alongside Enterprise Infrastructure and Cloud Operations engineers to provide a seamless, harmonized service, supporting our stakeholders in delivering technology services.


Requirements:

  • Experience in operational technical support, at varying levels.

  • Azure qualifications required - AZ-900 Fundamentals, AZ-104 Administrator, AZ-400 DevOps, or equivalent experience.

  • Knowledge of Infrastructure as code, CI/CD pipeline; with at least 3 years of experience.

  • Operational Infrastructure support; with at least 3 years of experience.

  • Technical experience and knowledge across the following solutions:

            - Microsoft Azure BICEP code, Azure DevOps, ARM templates.
           - Microsoft Azure Native Solutions.
           - Microsoft Azure IaaS and PaaS platforms, solution implementation, and design, including:

                      - Microsoft Azure infrastructure, Compute, Networking, and Storage.
                     -  Microsoft Azure Monitor, Enterprise Apps, Backup, Site Recovery.
             - Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework.
             - Experience and knowledge of enterprise infrastructure solutions (which are integrated with and dependent upon the Azure platform):

                       - Identity services, Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, MIM, GPO, SSO.
                       - Windows and Linux Server OS, DNS, Storage, MS SCOM & SCCM, Certificate management.
