QA Lead

For our client, the leader of Spanish banking industry, we are looking for QA Lead.

As a QA Lead, you will play a crucial role in upholding the Quality Assurance standards for the software development of existing Appian enterprise applications, specifically supporting the Client Lifecycle Management/KYC process.

Hybrid Mode: 2 days in Warsaw office for sprint (2 weeks)

Responsibilities:

• Designing, creating, automating, and executing comprehensive test plans and test cases based on requirements and user stories

• Collaborating closely with development and product teams to understand product architecture and functionalities

• Driving continuous improvement initiatives within the testing process

• Coordinating and overseeing the UAT process, ensuring critical bugs are identified and addressed before production deployment

• Identifying, documenting, and prioritizing defects and inconsistencies

• Maintaining expert knowledge in low-code platforms, promoting best practices and standards within the team

• Reporting test progress, metrics, issues, and risks to project stakeholders regularly

• Ensuring testing practices comply with corporate standards and best practices

Experience:

• Proven experience as a Tester, with a minimum of 2 years in a senior/leading role

• Proven experience in test automation

• Demonstrable experience with testing methodologies and tools, including exploratory tests, user acceptance tests, scenario-based tests, and final usability tests

• Experience coordinating User Acceptance Testing with end-users and stakeholders and managing complex test environments

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information System, IT Engineering, or similar

• Master's degree in Finance, Business, or Computer Science is an advantage

Skills & Knowledge:

• Strong knowledge of low-code platforms and associated testing challenges

• ISTQB certification or equivalent experience, with a clear understanding of ISTQB standards

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience working in an Agile environment

• Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Excellent communication, both written and oral

• Highly self-motivated and directed

• Fluent in English
