For our corporate client with an international presence and specializing in the field of law, we are looking for a Cloud Operations & Platform Team Leader (Azure).
The company offers a flexible hybrid model of work - the office is located in Warsaw, Poland.
The form of cooperation is an employment contract.
Main tasks:
Our Cloud platform will underpin the firm's desire to adopt an agile and cost-effective Microsoft Azure infrastructure. Our infrastructure provides best-in-class foundations and enables our stakeholders to deliver enterprise solutions and services to the firm and our clients.
The Cloud Operations & Platform Team will be a new global team within the wider Cloud Infrastructure team. It will align with Microsoft CAF best practices, focus on operational day-to-day support, process management, cloud-native functionality, development, and deployment methodologies as part of a migration to the MS Azure infrastructure, including the following:
Microsoft Azure Platform, including IaaS, PaaS, and infrastructure products.
Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD pipelines, backlog, and Agile working practices.
Service- and security-focused compliance management and cloud-optimized service delivery.
Cloud financial management and reporting.
Knowledge of Windows and Linux Server, DNS, Storage, Identity services, Active Directory, Azure Active Directory.
Expectations of Role:
As the service owner, accountable for the operational support, maintenance, and compliance of Microsoft Azure infrastructure.
Provide leadership, people management, and support development for up to 10 engineers.
Responsible for Agile working practices, automation, and integration/coordination with the current support model.
Responsible for DevOps backlog management, Azure BICEP-based Infrastructure as Code adoption, and delivery.
Accountable for reporting, managing, and wider working practice adoption of Azure cost management best practices, following the FINOPS framework.
Lead, collaborate, and direct a harmonized service across the wider Cloud Infrastructure team.
Capable of leading with hands-on technical aspects and leading strategic thinking and planning aligned to business needs.
Responsible for managing, reporting, and adoption of ITIL service management processes and service ownership management.
Accountable for service compliance with security policies, incident response management, and adherence to agreed working processes and policies.
Demonstrate the ability to flex style, technical proficiency, analytical practices to direct coordination.
Responsible for operational budget management and reporting.
Strategic future planning and alignment of service to meet business needs.
Third-party and stakeholder management, and active engagement across the Technology department.
Requirements:
Experience in leading and managing a global technical operational team.
Azure qualifications required - AZ-900 Fundamentals, AZ-104 Administrator, or equivalent experience.
Operational Infrastructure support knowledge; with at least 3 years of experience.
Experience with Azure BICEP, Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD development; working within an Agile methodology, managing backlog priorities and tasking.
Cloud strategic, architectural knowledge supporting the delivery of modernized business services and a continuous improvement mindset.
Technical experience and knowledge across the following solutions:
- Microsoft Azure Platform, including IaaS, PaaS, and infrastructure services.
- Microsoft Azure BICEP, DevOps, infrastructure automation tooling.
- Cloud financial and process management and reporting.
- Windows and Linux Server OS, DNS, Storage, MS SCOM & SCCM.
- Understanding of Identity services, Active Directory, Azure Active Directory.
- Automation experience in - PowerShell, Bash, Ansible, DevOps, ARM, BICEP code.
