Data / Business Analyst for the KYC/AML

We are seeking a Data / Business Analyst for the KYC/AML sector within the banking industry.

Location: Warsaw

Contract: Employment contract  

Responsibilities:

• Develop data-driven business analyses and recommendations utilizing Excel, Power Query, and Power BI, and present findings to senior management.

• Oversee the collection, analysis, and optimal approach for addressing and managing reporting requirements, including the upkeep of a central requirements repository.

• Administer the requirements governance process.

• Create process documentation and conduct adherence checks.

• Investigate issues and incidents to define and monitor corrective actions.

• Serve as the single point of contact (SPOC) for requirements with development teams and stakeholders, spearheading implementation, updating progress, and escalating concerns.

• Foster continuous improvements in Business Intelligence Management.

Requirements:

• 2-3 years of relevant experience in Banking, Risk, Compliance, within a dynamic, agile multinational setting.

• Strong analytical abilities, adept at understanding both data and business process intricacies, and proficient in communicating insights derived from data.

• Expertise in Excel, Power Query/Power BI, with capability in creating macros, prototypes, and automations.

• English proficiency at a C1/C2 level.

• Demonstrated experience in gathering, defining, managing, and delivering business requirements, ideally related to reporting and business intelligence.

• Ability to lead, influence, and manage senior stakeholder relationships effectively.

Desirable:

• Knowledge in Transaction Monitoring, Financial Crime Compliance, Banking.

• A keen interest in Operational Management, with insights on defining process/service performance metrics.

• Familiarity with Cognos, Python.

• Understanding of case and workforce management tools.
